Welcome to Card Brawl, a fun interactive card game where you get to battle Alvin, the blue floating demon guy over there.

To the left here, we can see you, the handsome little knight at the top.
Under your icon, we can see your health , mana ,and shields . When your health reaches 0, you lose. Try not to let that happen.
You can use shield cards to gain shields which deflect incoming damage from Alvin.
You also have 3 mana, listed below your health. Each card has a mana cost. Use your mana wisely to combine cards for the best outcome.

To the right here we see Alvin at the top, his health right below him, and finally the card he's about to play (cards will be explained in the next section).
At the bottom, we can see the Play Cards and End Turn button.
Play Cards will play the card you've selected by clicking on it and highlighting it yellow. You can only select one card at a time.
End Turn will complete your turn, and give Alvin a chance to fight back with his selected card.

This is an attack card. The card text describes the action you will take by placing that card. In this instance you would deal one damage to Alvin.
In the top left corner you'll notice a blue potion . This is the mana cost of your card. As mentioned before you only have 3 mana per turn, so pay close attention to the mana you use.

This is a shield card. Just as with attack cards, the card text will indicate the action you will take. Shield cards block incoming damage from Alvins attacks. You can see your current shields over to the left when you see this icon lit up . You will not survive without these, so be sure to protect yourself!

Lastly, let's take a look at Alvin's cards. They follow the same structure as yours, except he doesn't use mana and he can only play one card at a time. As you can see on the card to the left, Alvin's special mechanic is that he can heal himself. Don't expect Alvin to go down without a fight.

This concludes the tutorial. I hope you have as much fun playing as I did making it!
